This hotel is amazing, it's beautifully presented with lovely amenities. Host is kind and very thoughtful. She is willing to help out and accommodate your every need. We spent the night and found the rooms spacious and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast and coffee was delicious. If your going to visit the wineries in the area or just passing through I recommend staying right here. Will definitely come back.
We had one of the best holidays ever. Customer service better then in 5 star hotels. I have been telling everyone about Harvest. You will not find a better country escape. A separate for breakfast, I live in a trendy suburb in Melbourne and breakfast was so impressive, better than most places in the city. If you need a get away look no further! We will be back.
Harvest was a total surprise. It is just off the Hume in the cute town of Avenel about 90 mins from Melbourne. The owners are very hospitable and the service was excellent. We had dinner and breakfast and both were great. The room was very stylishly decorated. The area is close to wineries and lovely country drives. We would highly recommend at least a night’s accomodation.
HH is the perfect place to spend the weekend. We stayed in room 2. It boasts tasteful decor and a very comfortable king bed. There is a gorgeous claw foot bath if you have the time to relax. Sam is a busy woman and a kind honest. The effort she has put into every aspect of HH is a credit to her. Every individual dining room is perfectly styled with charming furniture and art work. Make sure you spend time to enjoy the garden area and pool. Over our weekend we had great coffee, a cheeky pre-dinner cocktails, as well as a delicious lunch at HH. The food matches the great service and is prepared with love and passion. Chicken liver parfait and fresh Eden oysters were highlights. Next door there is Bank Street Pizza, which makes the weekend the complete package (make sure you book a table). Can’t wait to stay again. Thanks for the hospitality lovelies.
